PAT Testing & EICR services
Our PAT testing services include:
- Comprehensive PAT testing of electrical appliances for small businesses, landlords, and trades across Edinburgh
- Visual inspection of appliances for signs of damage, wear, or faults
- Electrical safety tests, including insulation resistance, earth continuity, and polarity checks
- Issuance of detailed PAT testing reports for compliance and record-keeping
- Flexible PAT testing appointments available across Edinburgh — including evenings and weekends
- A fixed £55 site fee covers up to 30 items, with additional items charged at £1.70 each
Our EICR services include (available outside LEZ):
- EICR services for for small businesses, landlords, work‑from‑home setups, homeowners and home buyers
- Inspection and testing of the electrical systems to assess condition of electrical installations
- Issuing of formal Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs). The report identifies any issues (coded C1, C2, or C3) and whether the installation is safe to continue using
- From £145 (for a standard 1–2 bedroom flat). Larger properties or those with more circuits will incur additional charges
- Please note that the inspection and testing does not cover remedial work. An EICR with a C1 (Danger Present) or C2 (Potentially Dangerous) codes is considered a fail, and remedial work is required to bring the installation up to a safe standard
- If any issues are identified, we can offer repair services for an additional fee. However, you are under no obligation to use our services for the repairs and may choose another contractor if you wish
